For the last 25 years EMU Australia has been inspired by innovating with sustainable and natural materials to create quality footwear that lasts.

EMU Australia started out with a simple idea, that nature is the best inventor and we're just following her lead. Australian Merino wool, leather and Australian sheepskin are world renowned for their super-natural qualities including next-to-skin softness, as well as being renewable, biodegradable and 100% natural.

Just as nature evolves, so does EMU Australia.

Established out of Jacksons Tannery, which began in 1948,
EMU started out with a simple idea, and probably the best —
that nature is the best inventor and we’re just following her lead.

We draw inspiration from our home,
the Australian life and landscape,
incorporating natural and sustainable materials like
sheepskin and merino wool into our creations.
Our approach is more than just making boots.
And slippers. And the softest earmuffs this side of the world.
